Popeye the sailor man …. In my opinion that cartoon explains all there is to the power of spinach. Not literally but close, very close. Spinach is fortunately commonly used in many dishes making its consumption more accessible and easier. Despite the beautiful green color it adds to so many dishes and salads it also comes with tons of benefits

1. Spinach has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties

2. It also has antioxidants which helps remove the free radicals

3. It is a source of vitamin C and E, beta-carotene, manganese, zinc and selenium

4. Decreases the risk of blood vessel related problems

5. It contains vitamin K which prevents the over-activation of osteoclasts which cause the bones to break down faster.
