Cabbage and Beef

This is a recipe for a single dish meal with cabbage and beef.

1  med. size head of CABBAGE

1 lb Lean Ground Beef

1 pkg Yellow Cornbread Mix

 

Prepare cornbread according to package directions. 

Use waterless stainless cookware, pressure cooker, or steamer to cook cabbage.

Season Cabbage as follows:  1 teaspoon season salt, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne red pepper, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon Pamper Chef Crushed Peppercorn, & Garlic Rub seasoning 

Brown ground beef in skillet.  Suggestion for seasoning: 2 tsp Pamper Chef Southwestern Seasoning Mix, 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt, 1/2 teaspoon table salt

 

To Serve lay cabbage leaves on bottom of saucer, cover with ground beef, top with crumbled cornbread.  Eat hot, Taste great on a cold day.  Serves 6
