Carrot Curry

Recipe of Carrot Curry which is tasty with Rice and also with Roti.

 
Ingredients:-

 1. Big-sized carrots…..5,

2.  Medium-sized onion…..1,

3. Green Chillies…….4.

4. Lavang……2,

5. Birinji Leaves……1,

6.Dalchini…….2,

7. Eliachi…….2,

8.Ginger-Garlic Paste……1 spoon,

9. Garam Masala Paste….1 Spoon.

10. Salt, Haldi Powder and Chillie Powder ….as per required.

                    First remove the skin of the carrots and cut into medium – sized pieces. Cut the onion as straight pieces and green chillies as just  two pieces.
 
                 Put the kadai on the stove, keep 3 table spoons of oil. Put eliachi, lavanga, dalchini piece and  birinji leaf and stir a little.Then add pieces of carrot, onion and green chillie( From the beginning to the end, it should be on low flame only) and cover with a lid. For every 2 minutes, you just stir the ingredients with the spoon, (It will cook fast) after it cooks 3/4 th, add some salt, haldi powder and a very little chillie powder. Then again close with lid. take garam masala powder and ginger-garlic paste in a small bowl and mix it with 3 spoons of water and add to the  carrot curry and mix well, again close with lid and after confirming cooked add some cut pieces of dhaniya leaves for taste.
