Chowder That is Chunky

Here is an extra yummy dish you must try.

1 pound fresh sole

5 slices bacon, cut up

2 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped (2 cups)

1/2 cup chopped onio

1/2 cup celery

2 TBSP Parsley, snipped

1 (10 oz) packaged mixed frozen vegetables

1 8 3/4 ounce can cream style corn

1 cup water

1 tsp dried dillweed

1/4 tsp celery seed

1 1/2 cups or 12 oz can evaporated milk

Cut fish into 1 1/2 inch pieces set aside. In a skillet cook bacon till crisp; drain.

Meanwhile, in a 3 1/2, 4, 5, 6 quart crockery cooker combine potatoes, onion, celery, and parsley. Add frozen vegetables, cream style corn, water, dillweed and celery seed. Stir in fish and bacon. Cover; cook on low heat setting for 9-11 hours or high heat setting for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours

Stir in evaporated milk. Cover; cook on low heat or high heat forn 1 hour more. season to taste with salt and pepper
