Cole Slaw

1 pound cabbage

1 onion

1 green pepper

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup oil

1/3 cup vinegar

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon celery seed

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Coarsely grind cabbage, onion, and green pepper. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar. Combine salt. Heat to a rtolling boil. Pour over cabbage. Refrigerate overnight.
