Drunken Peaches

A recipe my Grandma tought me once.

Ingredients:

  • Peaches – 1Kg
  • Sugar – 200gr
  • Wine (red) – 1liter
  • Scratched Lemon
  • Cinnamon – 1 little spoon

Method:

  1. Pour the sugar and the wine in a bowl and mix them
  2. After that pour in both the cinnamon and the scratched lemon
  3. Mix really well
  4. Peel the peaches, and cut them in half
  5. Put them in a cooking pan and pour the previous made mix all over
  6. Let it macerate for a day at least, and keep it in the refrigerator till you serve it
