Drunken Peaches
A recipe my Grandma tought me once.
Ingredients:
- Peaches – 1Kg
- Sugar – 200gr
- Wine (red) – 1liter
- Scratched Lemon
- Cinnamon – 1 little spoon
Method:
- Pour the sugar and the wine in a bowl and mix them
- After that pour in both the cinnamon and the scratched lemon
- Mix really well
- Peel the peaches, and cut them in half
- Put them in a cooking pan and pour the previous made mix all over
- Let it macerate for a day at least, and keep it in the refrigerator till you serve it
