Easy Spagetti Sauce

You can either make this with meat or vegiterian. I like it with minced meat, but quantites the same without.

Serves 2

  • 250g minced meat (substitute with tofu if required)
  • 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • salt
  • coarse black pepper
  • mustard
  • pinch of sugar
  • 2 tablets frozen spinach or 1 handful of fresh spinach
  1. Fry 1 chopped onion and 1 clove of chopped garlic.
  2. Fry the meat with 1 teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of olive oil. exact measurements not required, but act as a good guide.
  3. Add the mustard immediately.
  4. Brown the meat and then add your spinach.
  5. Add about a tablespoon of crushed black pepper.
  6. When the meat is 90% cooked, add the tinned tomatoes and stir well.
  7. Simmer for about 20 minutes and add half a small glass of water if the sauce is cooking dry.
  8. Add a pinch of sugar to cut the acidity.
  9. Make some pasta and add it to the sauce when cooked. Also good with rice.

Hope you enjoy this one!
