Eat an orange, by doing that you can get rid of stress in less than 10 minutes according to Alan Hirsch M.D. author of ‘Life’s a smelling strength” The aggregation of the fruit sugar, citrus aroma and vitamin C stimulates the trigeminal nerve that is part of your nose and alerts the brain to make more of the neurotransmitter serotonin which improves the mood.

Do you want to be peaceful in less than 10 minutes after a hectic day with the kids? Then slowly eat 1 ounce which equals a four inch square of dark chocolate. This sensation can last as long as two hours. And remember chocolate has no calories if you drink it with diet cola :) The reason for this is phenylethylamine a rare compound in cocoa because of this increases the brains production of alpha waves.
