Banana as fruits and desserts. Everyone will surely love it.

Bananas are the most widely consumed foods in the  world and are an excellent source of Vitamin B6, soluble fiber, vitamin C, manganese and potassium. According to the 2009 data of Food and Agriculture of the United States the top 10 banana producing nations are India, Philippines, China, Ecuador, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Columbia and Thailand. Aside from eating it as a fruit you can also enjoy it as a desserts. Here’s some reasons why we love banana.

BANANA CHIPS, to prepare, cut the banana into thin slices, air dry for at least 3 hours before deep frying it until crispy but not burnt. Drain the oil with paper towel. Alternatively, if you want to make it sweeter, melt brown sugar in a pan, in a very low fire, coat the banana chips with the syrup. For storage keep it in an airtight container. Banana chips are excellent for snacks, watching TV or when your on the go.

I love bananas for the potassium. I drink a lot of water and do not want my electrolytes to be out of balance.
Also, I am on a diet and that makes a nice breakfast.

There are many types of bananas here in Thailand. One type are these little bananas and a treat they eat here is similar to the banana chips. They are a bit crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. They are odd but once you start eating them it’s difficult to stop.

    Thanks for the article

Just in case you don’t live here in Davao, bananas here are very very cheap and so I frequently eat them. I love banana split.
