Freezer Corn

35 ears of corn or 16 to 18 cups cut fresh corn

1 pound butter

1 cup half and half

Husk and wash corn. Cut from cob and put in large roaster. Add butter and half and half. Put the roaster of corn into a 325 degree oven and bake for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven. Cool by placing in sink filled with ice water. When cool, package and freeze as quickly as possible. To serve, heat corn and add salt if desired.
