Fruit Pizza

A simple unusual dessert.

If you are looking for something different to take to a family pot-luck, shower or for a group of girls at a slumber party try a fruit pizza. It is simple to make, easy to eat and enjoyed by all.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of ready made sugar cookie dough.
  • 8oz package of cream cheese. May use low fat.
  • 1/2 cup of sugar.
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla.
  • Fruit pieces such as : strawberries, bananas, apples, kiwi, blueberries, etc.
  • 1 package of coconut

Method:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Press out ready made sugar cookie dough to fit a standard size pizza pan. Bake for 10 minutes or until crust is light brown. Let cool. While crust is cooling, mix the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together until well blended. Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust. Top with a generous layer of fruit and sprinkle with coconut.  Cut with a pizza cutter and enjoy.
