Fruit Salad with Fruity Dressing

No fat and cholesterol-free fruit salad. Enjoy!

Ingredients
1 cup green seedless grapes
1 fresh peach, cut in chunks
1 large can pineapple chunks, no sugar added, save juice
1 orange, cut in chunks
1 banana, sliced
1/2 cantaloupe, cubed
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 banana
1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1/2 teaspoon poppy seed
2 teaspoons sugar

Procedure

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the grapes, peach, pineapple, orange, banana, cantaloupe, and lemon juice. Toss lightly.
  • Combine the 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup remaining pineapple juice, cottage cheese, poppy seed, and sugar in a blender and puree.
  • Put fruit into 8 individual serving dishes. Top with 1/8 of the fruity dressing. Serves 8.
