A salad with fruit and veggies and a sweet dressing.

Fruity Spinach Salad

 

Health benefits:

 

Spinach – Helps maintain bone structure, assists in red blood cell production, regulates our heartbeat, fights free radicals and is good for our eyesight.

Strawberries – full of antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. Good for your heart, fights off certain cancers.

Grapes – Helps in prevention of cholesterol, and Breast cancer, kidney disorders, fatigue, asthma, infections and heart disease. Also helps cure migraines, constipation and indigestion

Pineapple – strengthens bones, fights colds and coughs, full of calcium, potassium, fiber and vitamin C

Honey – lowers cholesterol and blood sugar levels, Increases energy levels and helps memory.

Almonds – loaded with fiber, lowers cholesterol, reduces risk of heart disease, and helps in weight loss.

 

Ingredients:

 

Cup of fresh spinach

About 6 sliced strawberries

About 6 large green sliced grapes

About 2 Tbsp crushed pineapple

1 Tbsp chives

¼ cups chopped bell pepper

¼ cup tomato diced

2 Tbsp lemon juice

3 Tbsp honey

Feta cheese to taste

Sprinkle of sliced almonds

 

Instructions:

 

Toss all fruits and veggies together.

Mix lemon juice and honey together and pour over fruits and veggies

Sprinkle on some feta cheese and sliced almonds and ENJOY!!
