Green Soup Recipe

published by Dora77 on Feb 12, 2012

Broccoli has some beautiful benefits like its 0% cholesterol,it has double the protein, its packed with Vitamin C,its a great Antioxidant,it helps in rebuilding Vitamin D ,it helps in detoxification and the list has no end.

Now here is my Recipe called Green soup.

To prepare Green Soup,you’ll need

1 broccoli (cut florets into Quarters for even & quick cooking)

1 cup-spinach(washed and ready to cook)

3-4 cloves of Garlic(minced)

2″ piece of fresh Ginger(minced)

1 cup of semi skimmed milk

1 tbsp of olive oil

Salt & Black Pepper Powder according to taste.

Instructions:

While cooking broccoli, please maintain a low cooking temperature and just keep the cooking time of 5 mins at the most, else you’ll be killing the nourishment element in it.

Method:

step 1:Boil or Steam the broccoli and spinach  for just 2 mins and allow the contents to cool.

step 2: Now blend the content  using a electric blender.

step 3: Take a pan,add oil,add minced ginger & garlic, allow the aroma to fill the kitchen, then add the blended green mixture and allow it to  boil for a min, then add milk, boil for further 1 min.

Finally adjust the taste with salt and black pepper and serve.

I enjoy this with bread crumbs as a whole meal itself.

Hope you try it!

and let me know if there are  any other variations.

And remember i like “I Like it” button clicks too,not just comments.

Thanks and Good Reading again!
