Healthy and Simple Dishes

Easy-to-make vegan dishes.

Here are fifteen vegan dishes that I found on the Web. They are simple, no fuss and healthy meals for your culinary pleasure. I love quick, easy-to-prepare dishes – don’t like slaving away in the kitchen, cooking for long hours. I want to be done in no time and enjoy the meal. Hope the beautiful pictures whet your appetite. After each title of the dish and short description, there is a link you can click on for the recipe. The ones with the asterisk (*) attached only have the ingredients stated. (Should be noted that I’m an omnivore – I enjoy both meat and vegetables. I’m certainly not a vegan. ;) )

Tomato and Avocado Pasta*

I love pasta and avocados. No recipe stated, but pretty self-explanatory. Just cook the noodles per usual and add diced tomatoes and avocados with your favorite dressing.

Avocado Dream Sandwich

I love avocado in sandwiches. Avocado is rich, creamy and almost meaty by itself that you don’t need any lunch meat. Avocados are common in vegetarian dishes, replacing any meats. Click the link for an easy recipe.

Kamut Udon Noodles with Veggies*

An Asian flavored dish. I just love udon (wheat-flour) noodles. The Kamut noodles are made from an ancient type of grain called Khorasan wheat.

Veggie Burger*

I prefer actual burgers – meaning a patty of hamburger ground beef, but this looks rather good. I put avocados on my burgers anyways. The sliced avocados makes this dish so seductive.

They all look scrumptious. Only one I would change is the veggie burger. No matter what brand or type I buy they are discusting.

fantastic, very well researched and written. I’m not a vegan either but these are easy and healthy, suitable for vegan or non-vegan people, and when my vegan friends come to my house, I won’t have headache what food to prepare.
    Yummy. :P

The tomato and avocado pasta is delicious! I’m not a fan of hummus. The Avocado Dream sandwich looks yummy! As far as the burgers, I also prefer a regular burger. I love avocado, but can’t eat too much of it because it gives me stomach pains. It’s good to know you’re not a vegan. I also like meat & vegetables.
