How to Make a Delicious Homemade Pumpkin Latte at Home

You Can Save Money and Enjoy a Delicious Homemade Pumpkin Latte at Your Home Dinner Parties and Holiday Parties!

A pumpkin latte in our area costs anywhere from $2.60 plus tax for a small one on up to $3.95 and even higher. I will tell you how to make a delicious, homemade pumpkin latte at home, and believe me, it not only costs much less, it takes better too–like real pumpkin! When you buy pumpkin and other flavored coffees at cafes and supermarkets, they are often flavored with artificial ingredients. My recipe uses only natural ingredients. Also, pumpkin lattes usually seem to be reserved as Seasonal treats–and only available at cafes during Autumn and Christmastime, and with my recipe you can have them anytime as long as you keep canned pumpkin in your home! Your friends and loved ones will love being invited over to your home to enjoy pumpkin lattes too!

Ingredients:

-2 c nonfat, 1%, 2% or whole milk, depending on whether you’re trying to make it low fat too
-6 heaping tablespoons of canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie mix)
-sweetener; I used stevia natural sweetener to my own taste (you could use any non-caloric sweetener), two packages per latte but it’s best to let each person sweeten their own
-2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice
-32 ounces of strong coffee-Light whipped cream (optional)
Add the milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice in the blender and mix well until frothy. Pour 8 ounces of coffee in each latte cup and fill with 1/4 of the mixture; sweeten to taste and mix well. If you wish, you could add a dollop of whipped cream or light whipped cream on top! A homemade pumpkin latte costs me well under $1, and, if you’re watching your weight, pumpkin is extremely low in calories, so you only have to count the calories in your milk which can be skimmed milk as long as you also use a sweetener that has very low calories! Enjoy this delicious, natural, homemade pumpkin latte for this holiday season and anytime!  Enjoy!
