How to Make Jalapenos Steak Season

published by williamswafford on Aug 11, 2012

If you like jalapenos, then you’ll like this.

Your jalapenos are ripe and you need away to save a few of them.  I like to hang dry mine and make pepper out of them.  Drying out jalapenos is a great way of preserving, because you can use them in everything you cook.

Here is a neat way to make jalapenos steak seasoning.  All you need is:

1.       Jalapenos

2.       Glass jar

3.       Some kind of steak seasoning.  I use Grill Time Hamburger Seasoning.

Start off by drying out your jalapenos either by hang drying or oven drying them.  If you oven dry them, cut them in slices and keep the oven at a low temperature.

Grind up your jalapenos till you get them where you want them to be.  Them put the jalapenos into the glass jar and then pour in the Grill Time Seasoning.  I usually only mix in ¾ of a container of Grill Time, because my daughter doesn’t like spicy food, so I save the rest for when I cook for her, but how you mix it is up to you.  Finally just shake it up till it’s all mixed together.

Keep it in the glass jar and it will last for a long time.  Spread it all over a steak and you will be amazed.
