How to Make Perfect Popcorn Pralines

Homemade gourmet popcorn mixed with pralines.

The perfect combination blend of tasty popcorn, pecans and a sweet syrup mixture is created with this recipe. You probably won’t be able to just eat one.

Ingredients:

2 qrts Popcorn (popped)

2 c Granulated Sugar

1/3 c Brown Sugar

2/3 c Water

1/3 c Milk

1 Tbsp Butter (real)

2 c Pecan Halves

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook to a soft ball stage or 238 degrees on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and beat until mixture starts to thicken. Spread popcorn onto waxed paper. Drop mixture by spoonfuls on top of popcorn. Allow to harden 30 minutes to 1 hour. (More butter can be used if desired)
