Lentils and Soya Chunks Curry

This is a healthy spicy vegetarian meal.

Ingredients

½ lb of lentil peas

5 cups of water

1 medium onion

5 cloves of garlic

1tsp of pepper

1tsp of salt

2 cups of water

5 tablespoons of oil

1 cup of shredded cabbage

½ cup of soya chunks

1 tsp curry powder

1tsp garam massala

1 tsp cumin

Directions

Soak lentils in 3cups of water for 3 hours

Soak soya chunks in 2cups of water for 20 minutes

In a hot pan, add oil, chopped garlic and onion,

Add garam massala, curry powder and cumin

Sauté for 2 minutes

Drain water from soya chunks and lentils

Add lentils and soya chunks to pan

Pour two cups of water in pan

 Boil lentils and soya chunks for 15 minutes

Add salt and pepper to  pan

Add shredded cabbage to pan and boil for 8 minutes

Cool and serve with bread or rice
