On Channel 7’s Sunrise morning show, the Australians had fed the popular British boyband some homemade delicacies from the humble Timtam to the foul Vegemite and the, wait, STOLEN Pineapple lumps? Oh no, Australia is trying to steal ANOTHER New Zealand item.

After tasting the Vegemite, Niall Horan had to take a tissue and spit it right out in front of the Sunrise news crew. The boys seemed to be satisfactory with the Tim Tam and the Pineapple lumps stating that “it’s reasonable, it’s OK”

After the failure with the Vegemite, the Australian host tried to claim that the Pineapple lumps are an Australian food popular in Queensland. Now Australia has already tried to claim Phar Lap, Pavlova, Russel Crowe and even the humble Maori 110 years ago!

The boys seemed to be uninterested in the history lesson of Australia’s food, especially the faux history of the Pineapple Lumps.
