Healthy food……..

Palak rice


Palak – 2 bunches

Cumin seeds – 1 table spoon

Garlic – 15 flakes

Ghee – 3 tale spoon

Oil – 2 table spoon

Coriander powder – 1 table spoon

 Green chills – 8

Salt – to taste


Onions and spinach must be chopped finely, silt green chilies. Wash rice add 4 cups of water and keep aside.

In the cooker pan take oil and ghee add mustard and cumin seeds to it when they splutter add chopped spinach, onions, green chilies, fry for a minute and add coriander powder, salt washed rice with water pressure cook the rice for 3 whistles or cook in rice cooker.

When the rice is done remove from cooker mix well serve hot with coriander decorated on the top. Serve with raitha.
