Peach Butter Recipe

Peach Butter Recipe. A recipe to add to your pancakes or other breakfast dishes. Great on muffins.

Peach Butter recipe

5 lbs peaches

1/4 cup lemon juice

12 oz peach nectar

4 cups sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp vanilla

Peel, pit and puree peaches.  Put peaches in a large saucepan and add lemon juice, nectar, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.  Stir to dissolve sugar.  Bring to a slow boil and cook, stirring often.  20 to 30 minutes or until nice and thick.  Ladle into hot jars, clean rims, and seal.  Process in a hot water bath for ten minutes.  Makes ten half-pint jars.
