Pear and Grape Salad

This simple salad recipe is sure to get those tastebudes working. The delectable taste of fresh pears, topped with a luscious combination of cottage cheese, sugar and white grapes has a flavorsome taste that is enjoyable.

This tasty pear and grape salad is really easy to prepare and should not take more then ten minutes to make. It’s a great salad to serve with lunch and it’s surprising taste is really refreshing. The delicious taste of pear and grapes could be one of the best combination of flavors, that You will ever have. So give this heavenly salad a try.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons skimmed milk
  • 8oz low fat cottage cheese (whipped)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 2 large pears (halved, peeled and cored)
  • 8 iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 20 seedless white grapes (halved)

Preparation

Mix the milk with the cottage cheese and sugar, and blend until it’s of a spreading consistency. Then put the pear halves on the lettuce leaves, cut side down, and frost generously with the cottage cheese. Press the grapes, cut side down, into the cottage cheese and chill the salad for at least 20 minutes before serving.
