Pears in Syrup

Preparing pears in syrup.

Ingredients

· 4 pears

· 1 teaspoon barley malt syrup

· 2 pieces star anise

Peel the pears, while we put about a quart of water to boil. We put the pears in a large pot and add the syrup and anise and covered with boiling water.

Then we put it to boil again, and once we let it boil simmer 10 minutes.

We removed the pan from the heat, let pears cool and then we get the syrup.

We boil the syrup again until the casserole are only about 100 ml, then water the pears with the syrup and thick
