Pumpkin Pie Chili

published by sirwritesalot on Jul 30, 2012

This is a great winter or fall chili.

For this Wild Recipe I use the following ingredients:

1 Big Can Chili Beans and 1 Small Can

1 Can Diced Tomatoes

Diced Red Onion

1 Big Can Pumpkin Filling and 1 Small Can

Pumpkin Pie Seasoning

1 Package Chili Seasoning

1 1/2 Lb Fresh Ground Pork

I cook my ground pork in a pan on medium heat and while it’s cooking I start to combine my beans, tomatoes, onion and pumpkin in a crock pot, I do not drain my beans.

Next I add my chili seaoning and I start to follow my directions to make Pumpkin Pie.

I am at work so I did not prepare myself for this it just kind of hit me all of a sudden to share this.  I can tell you they make a pre mixed Pumpkin Spice Seasoning in the grocery stores.  Or you can just look up a Pumkin Pie Recipe on the web.   You made it this far, Why not?

I try to make the pumpkin spice stand out a bit more than the chili so you can taste both of the flavors really well and actually tell that the Pumpkin Pie is in there.

I combine my Cooked Pork and then stir every thing together and turn the crock pot on medium or high, mine only has two settings, high and low, and I cook it until it is either warm or I just let it cook for a while and stir it ocasionally.  I hope you all try this and enjoy it.  I will continue publishing my weird chilis and hopefully one of you will let me know if you liked them or not.
