This sweet & tangy side dish use lots of convenient canned goods, so it’s a snap to throw together…it’s nice to serve @ a picnic.

This sweet & tangy side dish use lots of convenient canned goods, so it’s a snap to throw together…it’s nice to serve @ a picnic.

1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed & drained

1 can (15 3/4 oz.) pork & beans, undrained

1 can (15 oz.) lima beans, rinsed & drained

1 can (14 1/2 oz.) cut green beans, drained

1 bottle (12 oz.) chili sauce

3/4 c. packed brown sugar

1 sm. onion, chopped

In 3 qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients.  Cover & cook on high for 3-4 hrs. or til heated thru.

Yield:  8-10 servings.
