Red Cabbage and Apple

A delicious recipe………….

Ingredients:

 2tbsp (30 ml) butter

1 medium-size red cabbage, finely shredded

3tbsp (45 ml) honey

1 small onion, peeled and chopped

1/4 cup (60 ml) red wine

3tbsp (45 ml) lemon juice

Procedure:

1. Melt butter in a large pan and sauce the cabbage with the honey. Add the onion, apple, pear, wine and lemon juice. Bring to a boil.

2. Simmer, covered, for 1 hour, shaking pan occasionally during cooking.
