Who knew that potatoes added to doughnut batter would make something so delicious?

Spudnut Recipe

Ingredients:

-1 cup warm milk

-1/2 tsp salt

-1 tbsp yeast in 3/4 cup water

-1 egg, beaten

-4 cups flour

-1/2 cup hot mashed potatoes

-2 tbsp shortening

-1/2 cup sugar

-1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Mix everything together and let it rise twice. Then roll out the dough thinner than you do for regular doughnuts and cut to size. When slightly risen, fry and dip immediately in a glaze of your choice. Enjoy!
