Tastiest Recipe for Homemade Popcorn
I modified this recipe over and over to to get only the best results!
I really enjoy eating high-quality popcorn. Anyone else who eats many types of popcorn knows that there are more bad popcorns than good. The movie theatres have very tasty popcorn, but after you finish it, your stomach hurts a lot even if you eat a small amount. Also, for many years, our family has bought microwave popcorn. The best part of microwave popcorn is that it is crunchy, but that is about it. To me, it never has enough salt or taste. So I went out one day and bought a popcorn maker. It is no different than a pot with a lid on it, just so you know. I experimented and finally came up with this recipe! Ingredients: 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels, 1/8 cup of oil, about one small spoonful of salt, and a piece of butter the size of your thumb. First, get the bowl ready because in the few seconds you run to get the bowl, the bottom pieces will already be burned. Second, put the oil and popcorn kernels in the pan. Third, sprinkle all the salt on top of the kernels. Forth, shake the pan and look inside to see that all the seeds are spread about evenly. This is so that they all cook at about the same rate. Fifth, turn the fire on to medium or high, depending on how fast you want it to cook. After the pan noticeable heats up, put in the little piece of butter in. It should melt and bubble a bit inside. It really makes a different taste in the popcorn overall. After most of the popcorn is popped, turn the fire of fast and tip the pan over so that the popcorn can go into the bowl. If you put butter in, don’t be alarmed! The butter makes the salt turn a bit black so when you look at the popcorn after it’s done, it should look like it has black dots. Try and experiment to make your own recipe that benefits your taste!
