The Singing Teacher’s Buko Salad
Enjoy the New Year’s celebration and other special occasions with this delicious and mouthwatering dessert from the tropics.
Try this mouthwatering and no-cook tropical salad.

Ingredients
- 5 buko (young coconuts), flesh scrape into strips of 1-3 in long
- 1 3062 g can fruit cocktail, drained
- 1 860 g can pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1 340 g nata de coco (white coconut gel), drained (available at supermarkets)
- 1 340 g kaong (white sugar palm), drained (available at supermarkets)
- 1 300 ml can condensed milk
- 1 180 g cheese, cubed
- 2 300 ml Nestle cream
Procedure
- In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients
- Mix well
- Chill for hours before serving
Other ingredients like apple, raisin, papaya, jackfruit and many more fruits can also be added.
