Tomato Bisque

Easy-to-make Bisque recipe.

  • 2 large cans tomato juice (600ml)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 t Worcestershire sace
  • 1/2 cup finely diced celery
  • 1 lemon cut in thin round slices and pierced with whole cloves
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 carton whipping cream
  1. Bring tomato juice to a boil, but do not boil.
  2. Place celery and onions in a serving bowl
  3. When ready to serve, pour tomato juice to the serving bowl with celery and onions
  4. Ladle whip cream on top of each serving
  5. Drop lemon slices on top of whipped cream in each bowl to garnish
  6. Serve in cups in a tray or from a punch bowl
