Toxin Cleansing with Red Lentils Curry and Okra Sandwich Recipe
Our body dysfunctions with accumulated toxins, it needs cleaning the accumulated toxins and is healthy if done the natural way. Our daily intake plays a major part in our body functions. It is very beneficial we use these same foods help us cleanse these toxins, help us live a healthier life. Today’s modern day medications sure is a blessing, but these medications carry too many harmful chemicals. 1) Pressure cook or boil 1/2 cup of red lentils
2) 4 pods of okra – cut in 3 pieces each
3) ½ red onion peeled and diced
4) ½ red or green bell pepper diced
5) ½ teaspoon of mustard seeds
6) ½ teaspoon of minced garlic
7) ½ teaspoon of minced ginger
¼ teaspoon of all purpose seasoning
9) ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder
10) ½ teaspoon of curry powder
11) ½ teaspoon of lemon juice
12) Pinch of sea salt for taste
13) ½ teaspoon of olive oil
14) Add in precooked chicken strips or shrimps for additional taste
Method: Non stick pan over medium heat, add in olive oil when hot (1st step) add mustard seed, garlic, ginger, onions sauté till light brown, (2nd step) add in tomato, bell pepper with okra. Cover it for a minute. (3rd step) add in turmeric and curry powder with 1/2 cup water, Cover it let it simmer for 2 minutes. (4th step) add the boiled lentils let it simmer for 3 minutes with 1 cup of water. (5th step) bring it off from the stove add lemon juice for a little tangy taste (add chicken or shrimp) Eat this curry dish with burritos or steamed brown rice and a packet of crunchy potato chipsOr if you prefer Soup instead of Curry: just add in 2-3 cups of water and let it boil or simmer for additional time to a content of your satisfaction, add in precooked chicken strips or shrimpand k n o r r all purpose seasoning. Seasoning can also be chicken or shrimp base seasoning in soups for additional taste.
Healthy Recipe to help Kidney functions with leftover Okra
Just a simple recipe to cook okra, it can be used in soups and in curry. It is better explained in the article below. About me: I cook these vegetable at least three times a week. I use the left over okra after drinking the mucilage slimy water in the mornings. I don’t throw the left over. I simply cook it in a non stick pan for breakfast Sandwich.
Breakfast Sandwich Recipe
1) Add couple of onion slices
2) ¼ teaspoon olive oil
3) ½ chopped green or red bell pepper
3) 1/8 teaspoon turmeric powder
4) 1/8 teaspoon of all purpose seasoning
5) 1 whole egg,
6) 2 thin slices of raw tomato
7) 1 thin sliced cheese
2 slices of toasted wheat bread
Method: Sauté okra, onions and pepper with 1/4 teaspoon olive oil, add an egg and stir fry for 2 minutes.
