Veggie Burger (American) Recipe

Delicious American Veggie burger.

Ingredients:

  • Eight(8) ounces of firm tofu.
  • One by two(1/2) cup of chopped carrot (1 medium).
  • One by four(1/4) cup of chopped green onions(2 to 3 medium).
  • One(1) teaspoon of fennel seed.
  • One(1) teaspoon of paprika.
  • One by four(1/4) teaspoon of ground ginger.
  • One by four(1/4) teaspoon of pepper.
  • One,One by three(1-1/3) cups of soft whole grain.
  • Dry bread crumbs.
  • One by two(1/2) cup of free cholesterol egg product or three(3) egg whites.
  • Two(2) tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley.
  • One by two(1/2) teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce or red chilly sauce.

Instructions:

Heat the oven up to 420 – 425 degrees. Then spray rectangular pan about 13 X 9 X 2 inches with the cooking spray. Then place the fennel seed, tofu, carrot, paprika, onions, pepper and ginger in the blender or to the food processor. After that cover and blend it about Fifteen(15) seconds,until it becomes smooth. Add all the remaining ingredients. Then cover and process about Ten(10) seconds. Shape the mixture by about One by two(1/2) cupfuls into 6 patties.Then place it in a pan. Bake uncovered about 13 or 14 minutes, turning the patties after seven(7) minutes, until it becomes brown.
