Great and Simple Brownie Recipe

Simple yet delicious brownie recipe.

I have tried this recipe every time, and every time it has been delicious. I am not a great cook, and have had many cooking disasters, but with recipe it is hard to make a mistake.

        EQUIPMENT:                              

  • Medium Sized Cake Tin                        
  • Grease Proof Paper                                            
  • Bowl                                                     
  • Wooden Spoon                                   
  • Wooden Pick                                        
  • Spoon                                                  
  • Mixing Bowl

       INGREDIENTS:

  • 170g Butter  
  • 330g Sugar
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla
  • 3 Eggs
  • 85g Self Raising Flour
  • 50g Cocoa Powder

       METHOD:

  1. Preheat own to 180°C (350°F)(Gas Mark 4)
  2. Line tin with grease proof paper
  3. Melt the butter in microwave or in a bowl over a saucepan of water
  4. Beat the the eggs with the sugar in a mixing bowl
  5. Add vanilla, flour, cocoa and melted butter and mix
  6. Bake in oven for 20-30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted into the center of the mixture comes out clean
  7. Cool the cake. Cut into squares. I’d recommend using a pizza cutter. It gives accurate cutting
  8. Enjoy your Brownies!
