How to Make Cherry Pudding

published by Teresa T on Jan 11, 2009

Here is a really simple and fun recipe for some cherry pudding.

Not often do you see cherry flavor in a pudding recipe.  But if you try this one…you will be sure to hit a “grand slam” right out of the park when your family and friends sink their pearly whites into this!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup of flour

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda

  • 1 egg…beaten

  • 1 can of unsweetened pie cherries and juice

Method

Mix all the ingredients together until they are well blended.  Try not to squish the cherries too much.  Leaving the mixture a little lumpy will add great texture to the pudding.

Pour mixed ingredients into an 8″ square baking pan for 45 minutes at 325 degrees.  It’s ready to serve!  Now… You can’t make a delicious tasting pudding any simpler than that…can you?
