Brenda’s Quick Applesauce Dessert

This is a simple recipe that can be done quickly. Served warm on a cold day or cold on a warm day- it won’t matter -it’s still delicious.

Brenda’s Quick Applesauce Dessert

 

Ingredients:

4 cans of Applesauce

1 stick margarine

1 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

a sprinkle of nutmeg

Put stick of margarine in a bowl and cut into pieces.

Sprinkle in the sugar and flour. Use a fork to stir it until it is crumbly.

Pour the applesauce into an 8 by 12 baking pan or dish.

Sprinkle the crumbly mixture over the whole top,

a sprinkled of nutmag  to the mixture

Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 to 35 minutes until the top is golden brown.

Serve warm or cold with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
