Chocolate Ice Cream

How to make your own Chocolate Ice Cream.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 oz bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups table cream (18% milk fat)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. Beat eggs lightly.
  2. Beat sugar into eggs.
  3. Heat chocolate, milk, and 1 cup of cream together in a sauce pan.
  4. Stir occasionally until chocolate starts to melt.
  5. When chocolate partially melted, stir in cocoa powder.
  6. When hot (and chocolate fully melted and cocoa dissolved) but not boiling, remove from stove and stir in to eggs.
  7. Add second cup of cream and vanilla.
  8. Cool and make in ice cream maker.

Your friends will be amazed with your ice cream! Trust me it’s better than the bought one :)

    I would eat it all at one sitting. I know it would be delicious. I will soon get out my ice cream freezer and try it.My better half wont let me eat it all anyway.
