Family Fun Night – 60s Burgers
With a bit of imagination and a theme, you can turn a regular dinner into a night of family fun!
We love to do Family Fun Nights! The most recent theme we did was a 60s theme. We printed up menus reminiscent of old drive-in burger shops. The kids each wrote their name on a menu and circled the items they wanted to “order”.

To add to the 60s feel of the evening, my mom made the kids milkshakes and ice cream floats in tall glasses with straws.
As for the activities, we played classic games such as Twister, Hungry Hippos, and checkers. The kids also sang kareoke and danced around to 60s music. It was a fun night all around!

This is so funny because at home I do similar things like that, such as taking orders, handing out menus, wearing props, etc. I know it might sound childish, but hey, it’s good to feel the past again! Hahaha. Thanks for sharing this fun article.

I still make good old fashioned burgers the same as I did when my son was small in the 70s.
