Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) can chocolate syrup
  • 3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
  • 19 ice cream sandwiches
  • 1 (12 oz) container Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 c. salted peanuts

Method

  1. Pour chocolate syrup into medium size microwavable-safe bowl and microwave on High for 2 minutes (do not boil). Stir peanut butter into hot chocolate with a whisk until smooth. Allow to cool to room temperature. 
  2. Line bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with 9 1/2 ice cream sandwiches. Spread half the Cool Whip over top of sandwiches. Spoon half the chocolate mixture over Cool Whip. Top with half the peanuts. Repeat layers. 
  3. Freeze for 1 hour or until firm. Cut into squares and serve.

(Makes 15 servings)

    wow..cool! if i will have the chance to make it..i still can’t..beans like peanuts are not for my mom..she had arthritis..how sad:(

    maybe there’s an alternative..:)
