Ice Cream Sundae Recipes

Three sundae treats to help you beat the summer heat.

Strawberry Sundae -The Recipe

Ingredients:

2 scoops of strawberry ice-cream

1 scoop of vanilla ice-cream

3 tablespoons of strawberry crush

5 fresh strawberries(wash and cut in halves)

Chocolate sauce

Whipped cream and one whole strawberry with leaf(optional)

Method:

Put the scoops of strawberry and vanilla ice-cream in a tall ice-cream glass. Add the crush and cut strawberries to the ice-cream. Pour over chocolate sauce and decorate with whipped cream and a whole strawberry perched right on top of your delightful Sundae.

Mango Sundae -The Recipe

Ingredients:

2 scoops of mango ice-cream

1 scoop of vanilla ice-cream

1 cup of fresh or canned mango pieces

1 tablespoon of mango squash

Chocolate sauce

Whipped cream and a sprig of fresh mint(optional)

Method:

Put mango pieces in a bowl and top with scoops of mango and vanilla ice-cream. Add the mango squash, followed by the chocolate sauce and your Mango Sundae is ready for eating. Wait a minute, before you begin you might also like to decorate your Sundae with whipped cream and a sprig of fresh mint.

Banana Split Sundae -The Recipe

Peel a ripe banana(shouldn’t be too ripe) and slit it into half lengthwise. Take a cylindrical serving bowl(make sure it is long enough to contain the banana halves fully! )and cover the base with vanilla ice cream. Now, place the banana halves over the ice-cream base leaving an empty space in the centre. Arrange 3 full scoops of chocolate, strawberry, and mango ice-cream in between the banana halves. You can use whatever flavours you like(it doesn’t have to be chocolate, strawberry, mango). Generously sprinkle chopped nuts over your sundae and top off the tops of the three ice-cream scoops with whipped cream and   fresh (or canned) strawberries or cherries. Lastly, pour over chocolate sauce and Enjoy your Banana Split Sundae.

I am partial to mango, I don’t know why so I appreciate the mango sundae.

I am also partial to ice cream and I like to make my own ice cream. I bet your sundaes would taste even better with homemade Ice cream..

I would be interested in a nice new strawberry ice cream recipe :D

    Thanks for the post.
