Snow Ice Cream

A Simple recipe to get some use out of Snow.

Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding area may be surprised, or not, to wake to a blanket of white covering the ground. We got snow!! Although not always a good thing, especially for those people who have to get out and drive in it, it is nature’s way of decorating. But snow isn’t just pretty to look at. There are actually recipes which take advantage of the snow. One of the recipes that my grandmother made a lot was snow ice cream. If you haven’t tried it yet you should. I included the recipe below.

SNOW ICE CREAM

1 Gal Snow

1 Cup White Sugar

1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract

2 Cups Milk

Simply mix all ingredients together and serve. Very simple, Very Good. NOTE: TO MIX IT UP A BIT ADD A BOX OF YOUR FAVORITE JELLO INSTEAD OF THE SUGAR FOR A DIFFERENT FLAVOR OF SNOW ICE CREAM. ENJOY!!!
