A review of the Willows Farm Pub and Restaurant, Antisford, Northumberland.

THE WILLOWS.

THE Willows Farm Pub and Restaurant in Annitsford, South-east Northumberland is an establishment, which serves traditional hearty British cuisine and some totally amazing cakes. There is also an extensive children’s menu on offer. Its decor has a typical country kitchen feel with a real fire. The young serving team are excellent, polite, hospitable and they work hard in every area.

I chose the beef carvery for my meal. The beef was cooked to perfection, really tender, juicy and just about falling apart and there were so many vegetables that I really could have done with another plate. My wife opted for the aubergine and mozzarella bake, served with chunky chips and salad.

Anne went for the cool Jamaican ice cream while I had a huge portion of Bailey’s white chocolate cheesecake.

The Willows is open from 11:00 to 23:00 seven days a week with the carvery being on offer from 11:30 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 on Mondays to Fridays and 11:30 to 20:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. It is fully accessible to disabled diners.
