Mandarin Orange Dessert

published by skylite on Mar 3, 2009

This is one that my mom always made especially for Christmas, although it can be prepared at any time of the year. This desert is very light tasting and has a very nice flavor. Although easy to prepare, it takes a while to set.

Ingredients

  • 2 small tubs of cool whip
  •  2 packages dream whip
  •  2 tbsp. tang
  •  1 tsp. vanilla
  •  2 cans mandarin oranges

Method

Prepare your dream whip according to the directions on the box. Add cool whip, tand, vanilla, and the jucie from the mandarin oranges. Mix. Fold in mandarin Oranges. Place in the fridge to set for approximately five hours. Enjoy

Oh, that takes me back! My Mom used to make something like this (or this, I’m not sure) every time we had a family reunion. Thanks for the recipe!
