Mango Mousse
Summer Mango Mousse is a tasty treat.

COOKING TIME: 25 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup mango puree
- ¾ cup whipped cream
- ¼ cup water
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 sheets gelatin or 5 grams unflavored gelatin
Method
- Soften the gelatin sheets in cold water. Set aside.
- In a pan, heat puree with sugar and water. Add the softened gelatin sheets to the hot puree then whisked to dissolve gelatin. Strain right after. Rest on the table to cool to room temperature.
- Fold in the soft whipped cream to make the mousse
- Assemble the dessert: Pour a layer of mango mousse into chilled martini glasses. Let it set. When ready, add gelatin (prepare according to package directions) with mango balls and let it set. Add another layer of mango mousse. Top with a layer of whipped cream. Place the glasses in the refrigerator to set. Garnish with mango slices or balls.
