Namaste my friend, Great fudge idea and you can bet I'm going to get my lifemate Marie to make some for me. Sorry I have not been around much as University keeps old man and Marie very busy these days.
I'm going to feature you on my stumble site this week starting today. Its my way of trying to help my fellow writers and friends; so you may notice a larger then normal visits to your articles. Mike and Marie.

This is a lot easier than standing over a hot stove cooking it. I have made fudge similar to this. I didn't use as much margarine and I used a scraped irish potato. It provides moisture and gives the fidge a nice mealy feel.I will try your recipe when the kids want fudge.

I'll be honest, Ido a lot of the cooking in my house because my wife works at night and with 4 kids we need to share. They love fudge so this is being prepared this weekend. Excellent and thanks for sharing this! ~ Michael

I didn't realize that they didn't have sticks of butter or margarine outside the U.S. Hopefully this will help:
1 stick of margarine or butter = 1/4 pound
1 stick = 1/2 cup
1 stick = 8 tablespoons
1 stick = 4 ounces
1 stick = 113 grams
