Pretzel Torte

A satisfying pretzel torte.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. crushed pretzels (coarse)
  • ¾ c. butter, softened
  • ¾ c. sugar
  • 2 (8-oz) pkgs. Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 (12-oz) container Cool Whip
  • 1 (21-oz) can cherry pie filling

Method

Combine 1 c. pretzels, butter and ¾ c. sugar. Pat into a 9×13 pan. Cream the powdered sugar and cream cheese together. Fold in one c. Cool Whip and spread on top of the pretzel-lined pan. Pour cherry pie filling on next, Top with remaining Cool Whip and crushed pretzels. Chill.
