Puff Wheat Squares

This is a nice sweet treat for those times when you want something sweet but don’t want to spend hours baking.

Ingredients

1/4 cup margarine or butter

1/2 cup corn syrup

1 cup brown sugar

tsp vanilla ( optional )

3 tbsp. cocoa

Puff Wheat Cereal ( approximately one box )

How To Prepare

Mix all your ingredients in a pot over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Take off heat and add your puff wheat cereal. If you would prefer your squares to be harder, then it will require almost the whole box but if you want them to be extra sticky or gooey tasting, then don’t add as much of the cereal.

Add to a greased 9 by 13 inch pan.

Either way they both come out tasting like a nice treat.

    Do you put this in the fridge after you put it in the pan, or bake it?

    No this does not need to be refridgerated. Just let sit in the pan on your counter :)
