Ingredients

• 3 cups peanuts (cooked)
• 3 cups sugar
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 cup light syrup
• 3 teaspoons butter
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoon soda

Method

Combine sugar, water, and syrup in a large pot. Boil until it become stringy. Add peanuts and cook until the color turns a brownish gold. Remove from heat and add butter, salt, and soda. Pour onto a welled buttered cookie sheet. As candy cooks loosen from cookie sheet with a spatula when candy get completely cold break into pieces.
