published by Darla Smith on Sep 18, 2008
During the Autumn season I love eating persimmon pudding. This is a favorite recipe of mine.
Ingredients:
- 2. c. persimmon pulp
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. self rising flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 stick margarine
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt the margarine in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix first 6 ingredients together, and then pour the melted margarine into the mixture. Mix well and pour into baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Ok, I’ll have to try this, but it may take some time, while I’ve heard of persimmon, I’ve never seen one, so to get one and make pulp may be difficult LOL Sounds delicious though. MIchael
