Best Raisin Pie

published by Molly Girl 822 on Nov 30, 2012

Those little raisins make a mighty fine pie!

2 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups sour cream

1 1/2 cups seedless raisins

2 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Beat eggs slightly in bowl.  Add sugar and sour cream; mix well.  Toss raisins with flour in bowl, coating well.  Stir into egg mixture.  Add vanilla and pecans.  Spoon into pie shell.  Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.  Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees.  Bake for 30 minutes longer.  Remove to wire rack to cool.
